We are going through the Sermon on the mount, found in Matt. 5, 6 and 7. Our reference helps are Sermon on the mount by Martyn Lloyd Jones and Sermon on the mount by Clarence Jordan. The Care Ring is enjoying a fresh look at the words and teachings of Jesus found in the sermon. There is always room for new people to join us and we welcome visitors. Participation in discussion is voluntary but encouraged, as it takes the whole body of Christ to function properly.

We enjoy studying God's Word. Our Care Ring just finished the books of I, II, III John we will now go through the book of Jude.
We encourage participation, new thoughts and ideas, in order to advance the cause of Christ; after all He is what our faith is all about.

Lies Women Believe:

Beginning a new study on May 5th. We will be studying the book Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. "Since Eve first bit that apple, women have swallowed lies that leave them feeling confused, rejected, overwhelmed, and fearful. DeMoss exposes the deceptions---about sin, marriage, priorities, relationships, emotions, and more---and compassionately sets you on the path to deliverance. Daily entries of the 10-week companion study feature overviews, lessons, and discussion questions."

Currently we are studing 3 books written by Max Lucado they are And the angels were silent, The gift for all people, and No wonder they call him the savior. We also discuss articles from the Jews for Jesus news letter and any other subject that pertains to Christanity. We consider ourselves the carering that cares. We try to stick to the original carering guide lines 1/3 study, 1/3 prayer and !/3 fellowship and eating.

For those involved in the ladies care ring, we have become an extended part of each other’s families. We come alongside & encourage one another in our personal lives as well as in our walk with the Lord. Each meeting involves a time of sharing praises & prayer requests, a time of prayer, and our Bible Study.
In addition to our regular meetings, we have sent cookies/items to our military, gone on outings for lunch and visiting shut - ins, as well as being involved in missionary projects.
If you are not involved in a care ring and would like to join us, you will be tremendously blessed, challenged and encouraged

Disciplines of a Godly Man: (Kent Hughes)

Our meeting is designed for men who want to develop a closer relationship with the Lord and with each other. To accomplish this we are currently working our way through the book Disciplines of a Godly Man by R. Kent Hughes. We meet on the first and third Thursdays of each month. We share, pray and discuss the assigned chapter and relevant Scriptures. It is an exciting time for those men who are involved.
